The engine control unit is an electronic computer which used in present day autos to manage its computerized components. Reading data from sensors and transmitting output to the different components, the ECU control the proper operation of the auto motive.
The engine control unit gather information from other components in the auto as the crankshaft and camshaft sensors to effectively process information such as injector of fuel , intake, cooling system and some other components to estimate and manage the running state of the engine, transmission system such as the ignition/injection timing, the traction control (ABS), the body functions and more.
