A proximity key (also called Smart Key, Keyless Go, Push-to-Start or Push Button Start.Keyless Access.Keyless Entry) is a device that permits a key-less entry and engine igniting in your car.
When driver is within the admissible frequency range, the keyless access device communicate using RF waves with your motor vehicle to open and lock doors and trunk and even to turn on the car engine with the key in the pocket.
30 years ago in 1998, Mercedes-Benz was the first company to outfit this technology in a vehicle.
